Managing Your Account
Along with your user name and password, SP-Bench holds some additional information about you and your Local Authority.
What account information does SP-Bench hold?
- Your Forename (mandatory)
- Your Surname (mandatory)
- Which Local Authority you work for (mandatory)
- Your email address (mandatory)
- A contact phone number
- The address of your office
- Whether these contact details can be made public to users from other Authorities, in the
LA contact list
- Whether OCC can use these contact details to let you know about its services
How can I update my information?
You can update your account information by logging in to SP-Bench and clicking the "Your account" link in the top-right of any page.
The account management page lets you change anything except your user name and your Local Authority - if there is a problem with either of these then please let us know!
To change any of the information, just alter the text in the fields on the screen, enter your current password at the bottom and click the "Update Account" button. The changes are applied instantly.
How do I change my password or security question?
Your security information can be changed by clicking the "Change password/security question" link below your user name on the Account Management page.
Here you can either enter a new password, change your security question and answer, or both. Enter your current password at the bottom and click "Update Account" to apply your changes and return to the Account Management page.
What happens if I forget my password?
If you forget your password you can click the "Forgot your password?" link on the Log In page and SP-Bench will ask you to confirm your user name and give the correct answer to your security question before resetting your password and emailing you the new one.
How do I delete my account?
If, for any reason, you would like to delete your account and have your data removed from SP-Bench then contact us and we will make arrangements to have it removed as soon as possible.
