Outcome Reporting
SP-Bench provides reporting facilities for all of the CHR Outcomes Indicators, i.e. 1a to 5.
The training video on the right will take you through the details of the Outcome reports available, including how to run Outcome and Outcome Failure reports and choosing between the different aspects of an Outcome that you want to measure.
The following Outcomes measures are available for your reports:
- Need Identified Count
The number of Client Outcomes forms completed where the record shows that the Client had a need for this Outcome.
- Need Identified Percentage
The percentage of all the completed Client Outcomes forms where the record shows that the Client had a need for this Outcome.
- Outcome Achieved Count
The number of Client Outcomes forms completed where the record shows that the Client achieved this Outcome.
- Outcome Achieved Percentage
Out of the Client Outcomes forms that showed the Client had a need for this Outcome, this is the percentage of those where the Client also achieved the Outcome.
- Outcome Failure Reason Count
The number of Client Outcome forms completed that show a failure to achieve an Outcome for each possible reason.
- Outcome Failure Reason Percentage
Out of the Client Outcome forms that showed the Client had a need but failed to achieve this Outcome, this is the percentage of that failed for each possible reason.
The Outcome Failure Reason reports are presented as pie charts. These can be treated exactly the same as bar charts but you cannot expand and collapse the regions
as you can in the bar charts. Instead there will be a "Region" filter that you can use to restrict the pie chart to only the regions or LAs you're interested in.
Note that Need Identified Count and Outcome Achieved Count can be zero, so it is possible to have a number of records containing only zeroes.
Each time you upload a new Outcomes spreadsheet to SP-Bench any records that existed already are overwritten with the latest values, and any new Outcome records are added.
SP-Bench keeps a history of the Outcomes you upload so that as wide a time-span is covered as possible.
